SCAM ALERT

Hi everyone, we have been notified of a text message scam going around at the moment, here are the details:

Scammers are sending SMS messages pretending to be from Medicare, telling people they are owed a rebate of over $200. The text is encouraging people to click a link to a website and share their personal details.

If you’ve received an SMS like this, please do not click on the link or respond to the sender. You should report it to scamwatch.gov.au and delete the message.
