Our Mission Statement

Our mission is threefold:

  • To provide the highest quality of primary health care to families and individuals attending our practice.
  • To teach the art and discipline of primary health care
  • To support primary care research

We aim to achieve this by:

  • Engaging patients in preventive health activities
  • Ensuring our knowledge, skills and facilities are up to date and meet best practice standards
  • Providing medical teaching at undergraduate and post graduate levels
  • Supporting general practice based research
  • The creation of a welcoming environment in which patients feel comfortable and accepted
  • Acknowledging patients as individuals and meeting their needs for appropriate health care
  • Working together as a team to build a healthier community through our provision of health care
  • Working in partnership with other professional bodies eg: WA Primary Health Alliance (WAPHA), WAGPET and the RACGP
  • The creation of a friendly, supportive work environment that enables job satisfaction for all
  • The creation of an environment in which we work together constructively, respect individual autonomy and professional skills and recognise the importance of each other’s commitments outside of work
  • Fostering the professional development of all staff
