Coronavirus

What is a coronavirus?

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

If you’re concerned that you have been exposed to the coronavirus, follow the below steps:

1. Call the hotline – 1800 020 080

2. DO NOT present to the practice as this puts other patients and staff at risk

3. If you are unwell please go directly to the Emergency Department.  Please call the hospital first so they can prepare for your arrival
